Hi Kathy,

I just wanted to let you know that after a very noisy drive home, I had no idea Andre was that vocal, and once inside my condo he started purring and making biskets to this day.  He is very happy and has taken a liking to everyone he has meet so far.  He is quite wild getting into everything possible but just as you said he is also a wonderful lap kitty.

It amazes me that you can take a kitten away from its family, move him into a new home and with a good amount of attention and loving he’ll be as happy as can be.

You have obviously done a wonderful job not only in breeding but also in raising him.  Now if only he wouldn’t run under my feet when I’m walking!

Thanks for the kitty; we will both be very happy,

Carl

Hi Kathy,

Well after the first 15 minutes in the car Togo settled down and couldn’t choose which child to snuggle with, so he went back and forth.  Similarly, after the first 15 minutes in the big new house he was fine.  At first he wanted to sleep under the couch, and then he came out and played and slept in our laps.  Then people came over and after some play time he went under the coach and slept while people were playing the guitars and singing….it was like he was lulled into sleep.  Then he came out and played with everyone and was all around us during dinner time.  He climbed over people’s lap while getting pets.  He never begged for food or did anything naughty.    He did remarkably well considering he landed into a big house with lots of family around.  He was purring so loud one friend remarked that we should call him 2-stroke, since his engine is so loud.

Last night we all slept in our master bedroom and he walked around and snuggled in with all of us.  He ended up on Karina’s pillow and under her blanket for the most of the night.  He is using his litter box and eating well too.  Today I left him for an hour and when I returned he was in his bed on the mudroom counter sleeping when I returned…perfectly happy.

It is unbelievable he could adjust so fast!  It must be hard to let your kittens go.   I doubt I could do it!  Thanks again!

Thanks!   Erika

Hi Kathy-

We got our Hunter and Peri from you about 2 1/2 years ago and thought it was time to give you an update.  We check your web page regularly and just saw the new kittens - so adorable!!  We love our boys and can't imagine our house without them!  Hunter loves to go out on the leash as often as possible - he follows our daughter around the house until she finally relents and takes him outside.  His name fits him well since he loves to prowl around the yard and pounce on bugs.  He weighs 13 pounds - solid muscle!   Peri is a bit too timid for going outside, but is great at playing fetch in the house.  His fur is the softest & silkiest cat fur we have ever felt and in the sun it glitters so beautifully.  Both of the cats are extremely well tempered - our younger daughter carries them around and holds them on her lap while she reads to them.  They are "talkers" in the most amusing way - at the risk of sounding like a "crazy cat lady" I think Peri calls me 'momma' when he's asking for a snack out of the fridge.  We definitely think Bengals are a great breed, and getting two of them from you was one of the best decisions we ever made!  Feel free to use us as a reference should you ever need one.
