Bear Farms is located in Eastern
Kansas near the Missouri line suburbs of Kansas City, Mo. Bear Farms has very
easy access on I-35 at 67th St. exit 228-A West 3 miles to Bear Farms. I-70
from the East or West, I-29 via 435.
Bear Farms have been in the
Miniature Horse business for approximately 30 years, using most bloodlines over
the years - basically now we use Bear stallions for our pintos. We raise many
beautiful buckskins, plus tiny overos, palominos, bays, and appaloosas.
We breed for nice heads with bold
eyes, tiny well pointed ears, long slender necks, all this on a tiny body over
long slender legs measuring 30 to 33" in height. Basically halter horses. Many
are excellent movers that can be used for performance horses.
