Welcome to our "Family" page. Here you
will get a chance to meet the individuals that make up our happy family!
"Tosha & Kia"

"Tosha & Kia"
These are my 2 precious "children". Tosha is a 10 year old
German Shepherd that I got from German Shepherd Rescue. Kia is a 6 year old red and
white Border Collie that I got from Border Collie Rescue.
Both girls trained and competed in dog agility for several years and won
many ribbons and prizes. They still love any opportunity they can get to
"practice". Tosha and Kia also took lessons in sheep herding - a skill
they try to use with the minis. Unfortunately, minis don't cooperate as easily as
sheep and minis will challenge and chase. Tosha and Kia still keep trying every
chance they get, hopefully positive that one of these days the minis will just fall in
line, stay in a group, and move where the dogs want them to move.

"Miss Kitty"
This is my precious feline "child". Miss Kitty is a very
lovable lap cat and she is also quite a skilled hunter. She has caught all kinds of
critters including a Copperhead snake at the previous place we used to live. She
also enjoys sitting in the windows and watching the outside world go by. Her other
talents include napping and eating.

"Grayson & Collin"
These are my BIGGEST precious "children". Grayson, the one
with the darker face, and Collin, the one with the black eyeliner, are Livestock Guardian
Dogs. They are brothers and are Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd crosses.
They are now a year old and weigh approximately 125 pounds each.
Grayson and Collin are big, lovable pups who are doing an AWESOME job at
protecting their miniature horse herd! No coyotes have EVER shown up at our
place again since we've had these wonderful dogs. Grayson and
Collin aren't afraid of anything and they guard the horses and property with their
lives. A bonus has been that they are excellent babysitters for the foals and enjoy
playing with them too. Something the mares really appreciate. Grayson and
Collin are very sweet, affectionate companions to people, excellent care-takers
and protectors for the horses, and they are the best investments I have ever made.
