Leap Of Faith Mares

We have changed our breeding program to produce the smaller miniature horses. Most of our mares are 32" or under and have all been carefully selected for their conformation, bloodlines and color. When we are considering color, we usually breed for pintos, dilutes, and black based horses. In regards to pedigrees, we prefer Buckaroo, L&D Scout, Orion, Gold Melody Boy, and anything with a National or World Champion title or that produces or is by National or World Champions. We believe the mare is just as important as the stallion in order to have a successful breeding program. All of our mares have correct bites and conformation, good pedigrees, and are both AMHA and AMHR registered unless otherwise noted.

JHK Enchanted Buckaroo - AMHA/AMHR. 2007 30" solid bay. "Susie", as we call her, is our 2008 AMHR National Futurity Yearling Champion Filly, Under 32" Division. She won her title in a class of 36 and she was the smallest one!!! She is a BEAUTIFUL filly with a GORGEOUS Arabian head and a long, slender neck with big, dark brown doe eyes, tiny muzzle and ears, perfect bite, small throatlatch, straight legs, and a very refined, well proportioned body, especially for her small size. Susie is truly an Arabian in miniature form. She not only has the outstanding looks to be the National Champion that she is, she also has the pedigree. Susie is a GRANDDAUGHTER of BOONES LITTLE BUCKAROO, the most desired bloodline for the show arena and breeding barn of today! And no wonder, BUCKAROO has produced 33 NATIONAL/WORLD CHAMPIONS and has himself won 2 AMHA National titles and is a World Champion Get of Sire! Susie's pedigree also includes Gold Melody Boy, Lazy N Red Boy, Rowdy, Iowas Little Kernel and many others. She shows like a dream standing perfectly and reaching with her long, elegant neck and tiny ears and expressive face. Susie won many Champion and Grand Champion titles all over Texas and Oklahoma in 2008. And she is every bit as sweet and lovable and affectionate as she is beautiful. We are very proud of our little girl and she will be an AWESOME addition to our breeding program in the future!

Godspeeds Angelic Palomino Design (AMHA), Leap of Faiths Angelic Design (AMHR). 2005 31" palomino. Angel is a GORGEOUS mare with that great palomino color that everyone wants, and who should have been shown. She has a beautiful head with big, very dark almost black eyes, little ears, good bite, and a blaze. She has a nice neck and excellent straight legs with black hooves. Angel has an awesome pedigree full of National Champions both top and bottom. To begin with, she is a GRANDDAUGHTER of AMHA National Champion L & D SCOUT, a foundation leader in producing some of the best National Champion offspring in the industry! Angel's sire, FALLEN ASH FARMS SCOUTS DARK DESIGN, is an AMHA National Top 10 Stallion who has produced many AMHA and AMHR National Champions. Angel's bloodlines also include National Champion BondAToy4UC, Orion Light Vant Huttenest, Rowdy, National Champion NFC Rowdys Supreme, Bond Sir Galahad, Bond Showboy, Lucky Four and many others. Angel was bred for her first foal to our 2 time AMHA National Reserve Champion producer Lucky (See Stallion page), and together they produced a beautiful palomino pinto filly with a gorgeous head in April of 2008! This filly also has 2 blue eyes with black eyeliner and a blaze. Angel delivered her first foal with no problems. Since that first foal was so outstanding, we did a repeat breeding with Angel back to Lucky, and for 2009 they produced a beautiful palomino pinto colt with a gorgeous head and a blaze. Once again Angel had her baby with no problems. We have repeated this breeding again for 2010 and Angel is now vet checked in foal back to Lucky for a 3rd gorgeous palomino pinto baby!!!

MCC Lover Boys Rain Drop - AMHA/AMHR. DNA tested, 2003 30.5" sorrel Pinto. Rainey is a BEAUTIFUL, very refined little mare. She has a very pretty head with a tiny muzzle and little ears, big dark doe eyes, correct bite, small throatlatch, long slender neck, excellent topline, trim body, and straight legs. She has an outstanding pedigree with 4 AMHA National Champions! They include her GRANDSIRE on the top side, NFCs SUGAR BOY, and her GRANDSIRE on the bottom side, NFCs FIRE AND ICE. Her extended pedigree also includes National Champion HEMLOCK BROOKS EGYPTIAN KING, National Champion NFCs Egyptian Kings Challenger, Gold Melody Boy, Roan Ranger, Rowdy, Bond Peppy Power, Bond Showboy, Lazy N Little Man, and many others. Rainey has a spunky, energetic personality and despite her small size is top mare in the pasture. She has had 2 babies already and is currently in foal for 2009 to Mighty (see Stallion page), our AMHR 2007 National Reserve Champion Buckeroo bred stallion. We look forward to this foal later this year!
