His grandsire Porteno a 31.5" black appy/blanket
with very large black spots was sold as a 3 year old for $25,000. His great grandsire
Grosshills Comofin a 29" black Leopard Appy was imported from the Falabella Farm in
Argentina. Comofin was later sold in the 5-6 digit price range!

Snowcaps are homozygous for producing color. Sheila
Archer, the moderator for the Appaloosa Project has classified Tamboro as a
possible near - fewspot because of the large amount of white patterning that is present,
