The Mares of WeeOkie Farm

Many of our broodmares are former "show girls" and are producing beautiful show babies. As WeeOkie homebreds are added to our breeding program, other mares become available for sale (to keep our numbers at approximately 15 foals per year). We have many beautiful mares - currently more than we prefer to have. If you are thinking of adding a few broodmares to your band, please shop our Mares page. For those listed here without photos, we'll gladly send some to you.

Valley Rose Ranch Petite Princess
AMHA/AMHR 31.5" silver bay pinto. In 2001 as a 5 year old, and at the beginning with a baby at her side, she began her show career. She won numerous grands and reserves. At the Central Championship Show, she placed Top Ten in Open Senior Mares 30-32", Amateur Senior Mares Level 2, AOTE Mares, and Multi Color Mares. In Amateur Senior Mares Level 2 she was Reserve Champion. At the AMHA National Show, she won Top Ten in Amateur Senior Mares. She also won OMHCI High Point in Amateur Senior Mares and Multi Color Mares. What a girl!!

Update: Princess began a second show career in 2003. She was broke to drive and has been doing great in Country Pleasure Driving. She is so kind and gentle that even I am brave enough to drive her and her trainer's 4 y.o. daughter has been showing her in Youth Exhibiting a Senior Mare. After carrying 3 babies, she's still competitive in both Open and Amateur Halter classes. I even won an Amateur Supreme with her at one show! She is available for sale at private treaty.

WeeOkie's Star of Ada
AMHA/AMHR 1991 primitive dun 33.75" mare. Sooner States Bucky X Plumbar Dawn. Ada was our first homebred. See her foal picture in "Our Story". Sadly, we lost our beautiful Miss Ada in 2009. After almost 20 years of breeding, she still holds the title of "Most Beautiful Foal" that we have ever had. We will forever miss her!
